After a year and a half of training, Peter and his family moved to the United
States where he took a position in hospital administration and finance.
After five years in the States Peter and his family moved to Calgary, Alberta. Initially Peter accepted a position in the Calgary banking community. Upon completing his CGA designation Peter joined the ATCO Group of companies. Peter continued with the ATCO Group for several years holding a variety of financially related positions while gaining significant experience in the oil and gas industry. Peter met his wife Jeanette in 1986 through a Christian singles ministry. As single parents whose children were the same ages, they found a lot in common. Their meeting was also the re-connection of a larger family friendship circle going back to high school days. They became a family a couple of years later. The blended family provided its challenges especially during the teenage years with five children whose ages covered only 3˝ years! All the children are adults now and have established careers and families of their own. With all their children away from the nest Peter now finds time for volunteer activities within the community as well as outdoor sports adventures. Jeanette Lewis Born and raised in Saskatchewan, Jeanette Lewis is the oldest of five children born to Ukrainian immigrants. Educated in Saskatchewan and Alberta, Jeanette completed her Nursing Education in Toronto, Ontario. Jeanette's extensive experience in the nursing profession includes nursing service as a hospital staff nurse, ER nurse, doctor's office and surgical assistant, laser suite supervisor and home care nurse. Jeanette spends her leisure time as a homemaker and décor advisor co-ordinating the décor for many events throughout the year. |
